This item is sealed to be water repellant and reduce staining. I use a food-grade, non-toxic wax blend that includes beeswax and carnauba as well as antimicrobial lemon and orange extracts.
Concrete is strong and durable, it can and will last for an extended time with normal use and care, but it is not indestructible - if dropped it can break.
Colors on monitors can appear different than real life due to many factors such as indoor/outdoor lighting conditions, monitor calibration, screen brightness and other factors. At Wild Aster Creative all pieces are hand made-to-order in small batches using iron oxides and natural earth pigments. Please keep in mind that the beauty of working with concrete is that it creates one-of-a kind pieces that may have soft imperfections such as air bubbles, voids, or color variations. This is normal and part of the nature of concrete and not considered a flaw. Each item is unique and no two will be exactly the same. Natural variation between pieces is normal and makes each piece special.
